The Green Party of Will County is an affiliate of the Illinois Green Party. You can join ILGP by going here and signing up. If you don´t join, you can still be a non-voting member of the Green Party Will County. In order to bring about real change that is capable of addressing the issues in Will County, we must build a grassroots party to elect Greens to local office.

We believe:
- Ecological Socialism: We support social ownership and democratic administration as the major means of production and distribution in order to meet everyone’s basic needs within ecological limits.
- Anti-Capitalism: We oppose capitalism because it is a system that is structurally driven to be ecologically destructive.
- Anti-Oppression: We oppose discrimination and oppression based on race, color, nationality, religion, lack of religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, non-binary status, age, or disability.
- Internationalism: We oppose imperialist domination. We act in solidarity with people fighting for their democratic rights and for socialism across the world.
- Independent Politics: We support building a dues-paying mass-membership party for Eco-socialism that is independent of and in opposition to the corporate-party system of capitalist rule in the U.S.
